Our Little girl is 19 months old today... and what a way to celebrate.
Kendal had her physical therapy visit today from TARC. Because of all of her progress this last month, today was her last visit.
This last month Kendal has become a new kid. She steps up and down our stairs, sits to stand with no help, is walking everywhere, and has gained so much independence.
It's amazing to watch.
With TARC involved the last three months we learned that Kendal is very flat footed and still rolls her feet in. These are very issues that are easy to accommodate since we know about them.
I am so excited that Kendal made so much progress. And while we gained a lot of insight about Kendal's posture and walking through her home visits, I am glad we are ending this chapter!
Yay! Kendal

My son has issues with low muscle tone, which means his ankles turn WAY inward. It looks very uncomfortable. he's had to wear orthotics on his feet for the past year (although I'm a bad mom and haven't made him wear them that much this summer...its too doggone hot!!). He didn't walk until he was 26 months old. He's aging out of the physical therapy program in 6 weeks when he turns 3...but hopefully he'll qualify for free therapy at the elementary school. Glad Kendall is doing so well!
