our day off...

Here are my dates for lunch...

Our day off was spent eating lunch at Olive Garden and at the pool. Two of my favorite things!

Kenni's first time in the "Big Pool". She loved it, she was so laid back and was happy the entire day!
Kadyn and her posing...
Mia loved laying back and washing her hair... she was a blast at the pool. Mia loves "wimming".
Gaby started going off the low dive last summer. She never had it in her to try the high dive. This summer was different. As soon as we got there, she went over, climbed up the ladder, and jumped! We were all so proud of her!

outside fun...

Today we were outside a lot this morning. We took advantage of the lower temps and no humidity. It was a beautiful morning to play outside!

The kids had fun climbing, sliding and playing in the sand.

What a fun morning to play outside!

starting July 4th activities...

Yesterday we had a festive snack... Yummy pretzel sticks...
dipped in white chocolate and covered in blue and red sprinkles...
Today we are working on something fun for the girls... Red, white and blue tu-tu's!

(The boys have there treats coming soon too)

Friday's Favorite pictures

Flash forward 13 years and she'll be doing this as a teenager!!!
I love taking pictures of the girls swimming... so much fun. Kadyn, Gaby, and Mia are in our little pool everyday for hours of splashing fun... Love it!
Gaby is the fish of the family... She hates getting out of the water. She really needs a bigger pool...maybe some year! =)
And my favorite... Dad out with the girls catching fireflies.

I am excited- I am off today! The girls and I are going to Olive Garden for lunch then meeting up with Dustin to go swimming! Looking forward to a fun summer day!!!

Frogs, frogs, frogs....

Today we talked about frogs and lily pads.
We talked about how frogs jump around and what they eat.

We had fun getting our fingers all gooey as we finger painted lily pads.
We started out with 2 different shades of green....
even the lil ones got excited about finger painting...
We added the final touch .... Our awesome lil pads!

Father's day projects...

our fun projects for our #1 dads!

I love how these turned out...

The kids even made their own gift bags...

Hope all of our dads had a great day yesterday!

fun time walking!

We started outside playing... in a moments time, it started raining and we had to come inside. After everything cleared up we had a fun walk around the neighborhood.

The little peanuts loaded up in the wagon... they had a blast. It was fun to hear M and K chatting it up in the wagon!!! Even Kenni had some coos while we walked.
The bigger peanuts rode bikes and scooters...

We even chatted about nature and had fun pointing items out...
it was a fun time to get out and about!

Tuesday's fun...

Can you guess where we went???

We packed up Tuesday morning to go the train, park, and carousal. When we left our house, it was bright and sunny.

When we got to Gage Park, in line to buy tickets for the train, it looked like this...
Even though it was pouring, everyone stayed in a great mood, got wet, and still had a fun time.
We didn't get to ride the train due to the down pour but we drove over to the carousal and has a couple of rides all to ourselves.

Kadyn loves to ride the merry go round, has never had any fears.

Mia loves all of the animals and it took us a while to pick out the perfect on to ride! (Did I mention how wet we got???)
Even Kendal enjoyed herself too!!!
And, Gaby- who has always hated the carousal over came her fear and rode on it too!
Wet, dry, sunny or rainy, we had a fun Tuesday morning!!!

Still camping this week...

Today we made tissue paper campfires...
Even though fire is really hot, hot, hot... these art projects turned out really cool!
We even made "inside" smores... which is gram crackers, marshmallow cream, and hot fudge topping... they are just as yummy and gooey as if they were made outside over the campfire!
After our treats we built a tent using blankets. We even went on a bear hunt while we were camping!!!

Kendal or Mia....

Can you guess???

Mia is the top one (about 5mo) and Kenni is the bottom (almost 5mo).
Can you tell they are sisters???

Camping week has started...

Today we used paper bags...

to make super cool camping back packs!
We even had compasses...
that we added a little beaded bling to....

We finished up our morning by reading camping stories and then making up a few stories of our own. We are excited for camping week!

This is cute; Kendal playing with her toes and reaching for objects!

This is not cute; Gaby finding a slug yesterday and making a home for it in the back yard. YUCK!
This is cute; Mia's dirty face and booger hanging out of her nose. She can make anything look good!
This is not cute; another slug that G and the daycare kids found today. We now have an bug container housing 2 slugs and a worm. Isn't that just lovely!
