The preschoolers are learning about milk and cookies... a fun summer theme for us to explore through songs, finger plays, and of course, hands on experimenting.
Today we made chocolate chip cookies...
We all took turns string and mixing...
And some of us even tasted some cookie dough off the spoon... and left evidence on our chins.
Waiting so nicely on their turn to stir.
Then we made cookie sheets for art. We started out by painting with cookie cutters, then added color sand for the sprinkles, and glues them onto our foil trays.
The best 6.00 ever spent. Couple weeks back I ventured into Dollar Tree which is a really bad place for me. I bought 6 small dry erase boards for the kids to draw on, play school with, and practice letters. They absolutely love them.
And to end our morning, with celebrating flag day... today the kids decorated their own fabric flags.
