A morning outside!

Wow! What a great morning to be outside! After breakfast was all cleaned up we headed out. The kids loved playing outside, swinging, climbing, and running.
I kept watching the time, knowing we had lessons to do but it was so nice just to enjoy this beautiful morning.

L was hula hooping...

A was swinging

Kenni went around exploring the backyard

Gaby played with her toy from carnival. (Her mom really needs to make her comb her hair-how does that?)

M and E on the jungle gym

Kadyn on the disc swing

When we did come in, it was hard to get focused... we started out by putting a puzzle together. It took way longer then it should have and the kids kept asking if we could go back outside.

Today we introduced the letter B at circle time. Today's circle time was short and sweet because we had troubles sitting, listening, and participating. It's a Monday, a beautiful one at that, who can blame them for wanting to go back outside and not work on counting sheets!

So, I made them a deal- if they could work with me to do the counting squares, we'd go back outside! They held their end up every well!
Our morning ended with one last recess outside before lunch.
More on the letter B and dinosaurs this week!
