A is for apple... you know the drill!

This week are are starting our letters. I am so excited. Today we went on an "A" hunt around the daycare. We found an ant, apples, and an "America" flag.

Today's art is very simple yet it is so much fun for the kids. We painted with apples.

Our finished project...

Our "Buttercup" peanuts worked hard today too. Today we worked on saying, "circle".
I put glue on their big purple circle then they did a great job of putting their circle objects on their paper.

My younger group.

Being a toddler is rough...
We learned a new song about apples.

"There is much to be said, apples yellow, green and red.
Juicy, crunchy, sweet and round-
on a tree or on the ground.
Do like them in a pie? Oh, you're the apple of my eye.
Do you like apples?"

After our song, we talked about the different types of apples- then we made a chart of which apples we like.

Our learning board today after circle time... We had a lot to cover! Our books for this week are "Dapple Apples" and "We're going on a leaf hunt".
