Saturday was our date night with Gaby and Kadyn. My father in law had bought tickets for Dustin and I and the older girls to see the Topeka Roadrunners. They are our local hockey team.
We haven't been in a while and thought the girls would love seeing the sport.
Saturday was a surprise to them. Dustin and I had given clues to who we were meeting, when our date was, and answered some questions as they had them. It wasn't until we got parked and were walking to the doors, Gaby figured out where we were going.
When we got there- we bought the girls a tee shirt so they could show their team spirit. My 2 little Road Runner fans.

We had really good seats and the game was awesome. We saw several fights, 6 people from our team kicked out of the game, and several penalty plays. Lots of action for sure!
#17 lives with my in laws during the hockey season. Gaby is excited to get her tee shirt signed by the hockey players. ( We are taking it to Popi's house and hopefully Andrew will take it to his hockey buddies) Gaby was really into the game, cheering for the Runners, and recapping all the fights to us.

The girls had an awesome night... it was a great date night with the older girls. We hope to go again before the season is over. If you haven't been, tickets are very reasonable (treats are not), but totally worth it!
