Music and Movement was rockin' today. We started out by Shakin' our sillies out, which seems to be an overall favorite and worked well since we are stuck inside today. We continued our dancing by learning words and moves to Body Rock. We pointed to our body parts we were shaking them and then we really got to be silly! By request, I put in Kidz Bop 18 (daycare parents can view video on my FB). We were jammin'.

Our new rainbow streamer bracelets... the kids loved them!
The color of the week is red. Here we are all dressed in our red! We hunted for more red items and played, "Red Rover". (Not to well, but we'll work on that one.)
We finished up our learning time by sorting M&m's. First we started out by picking up only the red ones. Then we sorted the other colors too.
After we sorted them all we counted to see which color we had the most of, yellow won with 23, red lost with 5. Then we might have ate a few after our activity, was over.

We had several times where we used our manners during this activity also. It was great to hear kind words as they worked together to sort!
