This last month we have seen a ton of progress on Kendal. She is standing on her own, cruising around everything, taking steps on her own, and climbing up on everything. Like I said, huge progress for the peanut.
Today we met with Kendal's PT lady from Tarc for our home visit. Kendal's inserts came in. She will start wearing these in her shoes. It will help her feet start at a natural and neutral stance. When Kendal started wearing her tennis shoes daily, we saw much improvement with her stance- these inserts will help even more. Kenni has to wear them for periods of time until she gets used to them and they can leave sores and red marks on her little feet.
I am grateful that Kenni is going through this process- we have learned a lot along the way and know she'll be walking in no time.
Some observations that took place today is that she allows all the daycare mommies that she plays with get everything for her instead of doing it herself,(who can blame her, sounds like a good plan to me) and she has to want to do it. We are seeing such a personality and her voice come out and if she doesn't want to stand up and take steps, she isn't going to!
