July 4th

Even though July 3rd is a late night for us we get up early (by 10am) and get ready for the neighborhood parade. The last two years we have rode with friends/neighbors/daycare family on their trailer. It makes it a little easier on us and we don't have to decorate anything that morning. Yes! We are taking the lazy way out on the parade!

Getting ready for the parade... (don't worry, Gaby is only drinking pop) My little July 4th beauties.

Kenni is such a momma's girl. Me and the girl. ( I look so tired in this picture- but it was a cute one of Kenni!)

The parade is lead by a firetruck. So cool...

This picture cracks me up... Our neighbor James. If there was an award for this parade, I am sure it would have gone to him!

Dustin and Kenni!

Gaby blowing everything up... she learned young from the master of fireworks, her father!

Even Mia was getting lessons on proper firework techniques.

Kadyn did a great job too- they were very safe and had a lot of fun!

Kenni didn't have a nap today... too much excitement. She loved watching the fireworks and would laugh and giggle at the big, noisy firecrackers. By the time we had our late dinner, she was out.

Kenni went to bed, my mom came up to watch/listen to her as we made our way to the lake. We sat across the street and watched the big show. After having a up close and personal show in my yard, the lake ones don't "wow" me as much. Still having a great time as we end our July 4th with a bang.
