Back to school...

preschool that is...

Today is the week of preschool at our daycare. We have some new faces and a younger group this year.
Today we started out by decorating our circle time mats. This has their name and art work on it. The kids will learn the letters in their name as we reveiw them when starting circle time.

Even Little A is starting to like the crayons. This is a huge improvement from Spring when she would eat them. We've come a long way...

After we made our circle time mats, we talked about hand washing. We took a group trip to the bathroom and talked about the soap dispenser and the paper towels. We even learned a new song to sing as we wash our hands. After we talked about washing our hands, we practiced. We then finished up today's lesson with a hand washing color sheet!

To end our morning we took pictures of each kid to put on their cubbies. We talked about which space was theirs and we could not touch other cubbies but our own.

This week we are adjusting to the big kids being gone, focusing on doing our routine, and getting ready for an awesome year!
