This weeks theme is squirrels and nuts. We actually have a week of awesome fall weather to use with our theme... I am excited!

Our story of the week is,"Under the Apple Tree". It is a great welcome into the fall season, has beautiful fall pictures, and cute story plot!

One of our centers today was our good ol' wooden blocks. One of our favorite things to play and actually teaches so many things. Sharing, team work (if they build together), motor skills, and of course communication (asking for a block vs taking a block). Who knew???

We moved to our squirrel art project. Our poor old pet had no fur on it and it was very very cold. We made fur from crumpled up tissue paper and glued it on.
