Yesterday the 2nd graders had a Fiesta. They have been learning about traditions, songs, and history of the Mexican culture.

They started the celebration by hitting the pinata.

Then all the parents brought taco meats, beans, cheeses, rices ect. for the kids to taste. They had a huge amount of food to try!

The 2nd graders also made sombreros to wear as well.

Dancing and singing some traditional songs.

It was a blast to see how much Gaby had learned about Mexico and it's culture. She was so excited to be a part of their celebration at SHES! What a treat!
